Albert E. "Bert" Clair, 83, of Latrobe, died Saturday, April 7, 2018, at home. He was born Jan. 21, 1935, in Latrobe to the late Merle James Clair and Bessie Ruth (Rager) Clair. He was a retired self-employed contractor for B&K Construction Concrete Specialists and a member of Mammoth Christian Fellowship. He was a Navy veteran and served in Korea. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard; three sisters, Thelma Flowers, Katheryn Torba and Judy Murphy; and a brother-in-law, Edmund Slezak and his wife Patricia. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ellen M. (Hough) Clair; five children, Calvin E. Clair and his wife LuAnn, Denis Y. Ginder, Brenda A. Hixson and her husband Cyril, Mary Ann Rose and her husband Jeffery, and Jeffery A. Clair and his wife Marrion; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Clair and his wife Kay; two sisters, Evelyn Banner, and Beverly Rich and her husband Larry; and a stepbrother, Leroy Slezak and his wife Linda. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650. Military honors will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in the funeral home by the Latrobe-Derry Veterans Honor Guard, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. with the Rev.
