Alice L. Miller

Alice L. Miller, 66, of Latrobe, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born Oct. 27, 1943, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of Jacob R. Miller and the late Mary Jane Jaram Miller. She was retired from the food services department at the Mountain View Inn and attended St. Vincent Basilica Parish. She enjoyed her family, flower gardening, charity and celebrating holidays. In addition to her father, she is survived by 10 brothers and sisters, Lilly Mae Miller Jones, Helen Jane Miller, Evelyn Miller Blystone, Gertrude Langham, Robert Miller, Marie Mikesell, Glady Maloy, Samuel Miller, Rita Sullenberger and James Miller; as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Father John-Mary Tompkins O.S.B. officiating. Private burial will take place at St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe.
