Ann (Wayda) Latsko

Ann (Wayda) Latsko, 94, of Latrobe (Derry Township) passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at home. Born Oct. 26, 1919, in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Zalepa) Wayda. Ann last worked in sales for Fashion Bug and was a member of St. Rose Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Joseph Latsko, in 1997 and three brothers, Stephen, Michael and John Wayda. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Dr. George Gavin of Latrobe; three grandchildren, Kristin Kunkle and her husband, William, Colleen Gavin and Michael Gavin, and her sister, Margaret Jubara of Virginia. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, in Frederick Funeral Home Inc., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. St. Rose Rosary Altar Christian Mothers Society will recite the rosary 1:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, in St. Rose Roman Catholic Church, Route 982, with the Rev. William P. Donahue as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery, Latrobe (Derry Township). Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose Roman Catholic Church, 4969 Route 982, Latrobe, PA 15650.
