Anna Marie "Bubba" Smith Bollinger, 81, of Latrobe passed away Monday, June 15, 2015, at home. Born July 7, 1933, in Youngstown, she was the daughter of the late William A. Smith and Genevieve M. Wilt. Bubba was a homemaker and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Samuel A. Wilt; her husband, Carl R. Bollinger Sr., in 2001; a son, Samuel H. Bollinger; a daughter, Andreia O. Bollinger, and four grandchildren, Brett A. Lloyd, Angela L. Sinemus, Joseph C. Sinemus and Aurora Rose Himler Hipp. She is survived by four children, Carl R. "Skip" Bollinger Jr. and his wife, Maggie, Genevieve L. Kozlesky and her husband, Keith, Renee Lloyd and her husband, Douglas, and Diane Himler and her husband, Dave; eight grandchildren, Jesse Bollinger, Michael Hoffman and his wife, Rachel, Justin Sinemus and his wife, Jessica, Eric Lloyd and his wife, Natalie, Tammy Hipp and her husband, Brent, Jason Himler and his girlfriend, Raishele, Niki Bollinger and Rikki Bollinger; nine great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Madalyn, Joseph W., Emily, Samantha, Taylor, Gabby, Azzy and Alexa; three brothers, Bill Smith and his wife, Donna, Skip Smith and his wife, Shirley, and Rick Smith and his wife, Pat, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 18, in Frederick Funeral Home Inc., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. A funeral service will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, June 18, in the funeral home with Pastor Jonathan Fehl officiating. Private burial will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township. Latrobe Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a service 5 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Bubba lived with Renee and Douglas for the last four years. Mum was happy and very well cared for. She loved and laughed a lot, and her only job was a sweet joke, "Let dog in... Let dog out... " In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Renee and Douglas Lloyd.
