AnnaMary Upholster

AnnaMary Upholster, 80, of Latrobe, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born Jan. 19, 1933, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Nicholas Gleckl and Teresa (Zitterbart) Gleckl. She was a housewife and had worked as a cashier at McCrory's Department Store in Latrobe. She was a member of the Remnants Dulcimer Group, Simple Pleasures Dulcimer and Guitar Group. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gilbert and Paul Gleckl; and a great-grandson, Scott. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Russell F. Upholster, of Latrobe; two children, Russell Upholster Jr. and his wife, Sandra, of Unity Township, and Kathleen Weiss and her husband, Gregory, of New Stanton; four grandchildren, Amy, Alan, Jill and Kurt; seven great-grandchildren, Brenna, Seth, Aidan, Michaela, Sofia, Talia and Anna; a sister, Teresa Caslin; a brother, Anthony Gleckl; as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church with Father Anthony J. Carbone officiating. Burial in Unity Cemetery, Latrobe. The Holy Family Rosary Society will recite the rosary at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
