Also going before him was his companion of 33 years, Betty Lou Ross, who passed away Aug. 15, 2011. Survivors include his sister, Helen Dellavecchia, of Kent, Ohio; and five nieces, Mary (Gasbarro) Bleehash (Joseph) and Phyllis (Gasbarro) Kosczuk, both of Latrobe, Antoinette Dellavecchia, of Oakmont, Patricia (Dellavecchia) Strosser (Tom), of Greenville, and Nancy Dellavecchia, of Kent, Ohio; great-nephews and nieces, Joseph P. A special thank you goes to the staffs of Loyalhanna Care Center and to Excela Health Hospice, especially Mary Ellen and Lois for their care and compassion shown to him and our family during this difficult time. May God bless all of you. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe.
