Barbara A. (Ahlborn) Barr, 64, of Latrobe, died Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at home. She was born Jan. 14, 1949, in Greensburg, to the late Clifford Ahlborn and Ruby Brinker. Barbara was a homemaker and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Glenn E. Barr Sr.; four children, Patricia Barr, Glenn E. Barr Jr. and his fiance, Ann Kistner, Jeffrey A. Barr and his finace, LeeAnn Groba, and Tammy L. Barr; six grandchildren, Amanda Barr, Tiffany Barr, Dakota Barr, Stephanie Kistner, Sarah Kistner and Jason Kistner; seven great-grandchildren; six sisters; three brothers; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, in the funeral home, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jonathan Fehl officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Reformed Cemetery, Trauger.
