Barbara Jean Herrod

Barbara Jean (Guyer) Herrod, 63, of Latrobe, passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at home.  She was born Jun. 29, 1960, in Latrobe to Herbert Guyer and the late Thelma (Palmer) Guyer.  She was a homemaker and in years past had worked as a florist.  Barbara was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.  In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by a brother, David Guyer Sr.  Barbara is survived by her husband of 43 years, Joseph Alan Herrod, one daughter Brenda Lee Herrod; two granddaughters, Kaylee Elizabeth Herrod and Emilee Jo Herrod; and a first great grandchild on the way, Kolton Reed Kruel.  Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thur., Dec. 7, 2023, at Frederick Funeral Home, Inc., with the Trinity Clergy officiating.  Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery, Latrobe.  To send flowers or condolences, please visit www.FrederickFuneralHome.com.
