Beverly Ann Diorio

Beverly Ann Diorio, 64, of Lloydsville, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Born Sept. 23, 1943, in Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late Frank J. and Christina Bucci Diorio. Prior to retirement, she was a medical transcriptionist for Torrance State Hospital and Latrobe Area Hospital. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dolores Amatucci. She is survived by a brother-in-law, William R. Amatucci Sr., of Lloydsville; a niece, Angela Brody and her husband, Thomas, of Blairsville; a nephew, William E. Amatucci Jr. and his wife, Kimberly, of Lorton, Va.; two great-nieces, Gianna Brody and Christina Amatucci; and three great-nephews, Daniel and Zachary Brody and Nicholas Amatucci. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Latrobe, with the Rev. Thomas M. Lukac as celebrant.
