Brett Alan Lloyd

Brett Alan Lloyd, 26, of Latrobe passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at his home. Born April 20, 1986, in Latrobe, he was a son of Douglas Eric Lloyd and Renee R. (Bollinger) Lloyd. Brett was a published poet, enjoyed gardening, movies, music and his fish. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Carl R. Bollinger Sr.; paternal grandfather, Gilbert V. Lloyd; uncle Samuel H. Bollinger, and cousins Angela and Joseph Sinemus, Thad Michael Lloyd and and Aurora Himler-Hipp. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Megan L. Zamarripa Lloyd; three daughters, Emily E. Lloyd, Samantha M. Lloyd and Taylor L. Lloyd; his brother, Eric R. Lloyd and his wife, Natalie; his maternal grandmother, Anna Marie (Bubba) Bollinger; uncle Carl Bollinger Jr. and his wife, Maggie; aunt Genny Kozlesky and her husband, Keith; aunt Andreia Bollinger; aunt Diane and uncle Dave Himler; aunt Michelle Knaus; his paternal grandmother, Irene E. Lloyd; aunt Laura Kister and her husband, Barry; uncle Dave Lloyd and his wife, Brenda; aunt Deneene Krehlik and her husband, Ryan, and cousins Michael Hoffman and his wife, Rachel, and daughter Lindsay, Justin Sinemus and his fiancAC.e, Jessica, and daughter Madalynn, Jesse Bollinger, Rikki and Nicholas Bollinger, Josh Lloyd, Kyle Kister, Michael and Katie Krehlik, Tammy and Jason Himler, Lindsay and Ryan Hauser. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, in Bethany United Methodist Church, 2415 Laveen St., Latrobe, PA 15650, with the Rev. August B. Twigg officiating. Private burial will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Lesco Federal Credit Union, 6 Avenue D, Latrobe, PA 15650. Make checks payable to Eric R. Lloyd in care of Lesco Federal Credit Union, for the benefit of the children. All donations will be evenly distributed into three savings accounts for Brett's daughters.
