Charles David “Chuck” Henry, 89, of Latrobe passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at home. Born April 22, 1926, in Latrobe, he was the son of the late Earl T. and Ellen (Williams) Henry. Chuck retired with 33 years service as an electrician for Latrobe Steel. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the Army National Guard with 33 years service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Casterwiler Henry, in 2014. He is survived by four children, Susan J. Henry of Jeannette, Michael D. Henry of Derry, James A. Henry and his wife, Kathy, of Pocomoke City, Maryland, and Dianne E. Smith and her husband, Edward, of Latrobe; eight grandchildren, William Redish, Rebecca Dennis and her husband, Curt, Sandy Kiser and her husband, Shawn, Angelina Henry, Nathan Henry, Maria Henry, Christopher Henry and Matthew Henry; seven great-grandchildren, Sheldon and Ethan Kiser and Gavin, Hayley and Aliza Dennis, Dimitri and Zarek Henry, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, in Frederick Funeral Home Inc., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. Funeral service will be private.
