Dakota Bauer Bejster, 21, of Loyalhanna, died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born Nov. 28, 1994, in Greensburg. He was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church and was a graduate of Derry Area High School. He was employed by Jamison Farms. Dakota was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Bauer; paternal grandfather, George McMunn III; paternal great-grandmother, Louise McMunn; grandfather, Edward Gallagher; and aunt, Nikki Gallagher. He is survived by his mother and dad, Marie and Bill Gallagher; two brothers, Jakob and Griffin Gallagher; father, George McMunn IV; paternal grandmother, Linda McMunn; maternal grandparents, Joe and Karen Loveridge; grandmother Cathy Blair; aunts, Brooke Hodierne and her husband, Shaun, Kim Lampe and her wife, Linnea; Denise Dubose, Vickie Greene, and Tiffany Duppstadt and her husband, Bill; uncles, Judston McMunn, Joshua Bauer, Billy Loveridge and Ed Harkness and his wife, Lesa; numerous cousins; and his girlfriend, Stephanie Kuhns. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650. A funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016, at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, the Very Rev. Daniel C. Mahoney, VF.
