David L. Sheets

David L. Sheets, 75, of Latrobe, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017. He was born March 29, 1942, in Latrobe to the late Lee Byron Sheets and Martha (Beuton) Sheets. He served in the Navy, was a signalman for Conrail and was owner of Affordable Tax Services. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan L. Sheets, his mother-in-law, a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Betty (Corley) Sheets; a daughter, Merry Beth Sheets and her fiance Jesse Rosas; a brother, Robert and his wife Diane Sheets; a sister, Kay Comini; two brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews; and his dogs, Rocky and Chloe. Visitation will be from 2 to 5:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650, where a funeral service will be held at 5:45 p.m. Friday.
