Dorothy H. (Stouffer) Holden

Dorothy "Dee-Dee" Holden, 83, of Latrobe, entered into eternal peace Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at home. Born July 25, 1928, in Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late William (Ben) Stouffer and Mildred A. (Johnson) Stouffer. She was a devout homemaker to her family. Dorothy's hobbies that gave her joy when she was younger were taking care of her and her father's apple orchard and making apple cider and apple butter. Some of her other interests were league bowling, hunting, cooking, baking, making her beautiful quilts and her love of driving her Ford Mustangs. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, William F. Holden in 2000. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving sons, Scott L. Holden and his wife, Patricia, of Latrobe, Mark D. Holden, of Latrobe, and his girlfriend, Jocelyn Farley; and a special grandson, Chad Holden, of Latrobe. As per Dorothy's wishes, there will be no visitations or memorial service. FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., Latrobe, in charge of arrangements.
