Edward "Jack" Clark

Edward "Jack" Clark, 77, of Latrobe, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, at home. He was born Aug. 2, 1938, in Latrobe, to the late Edward James Clark and Dorothy (Ackerman) Clark. He retired with 27 years of service from Latrobe Die Casting and retired owner of Clarks Tree Service. He was Methodist by faith. He was a 1957 graduate of Latrobe High School and he enjoyed and was an avid trap shooter and hunter. He was the Amatuer Trapshooting Association Pennsylvania State Singles Champion of 1981. He was a veteran of the Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Clark. He is survived by Carol G. Clark, of Latrobe; four children, Kimberly Ferguson, of Maryland, and Duane, Jacqueline Hoopes and her husband, Art, of Greensburg, John Clark and his wife, Janie, of Latrobe, and Carolyn Revitsky and her husband, Wally, of Latrobe; eight grandchildren, Lydia and Cullen Ferguson, Clark, Madeleine, Alec Hoopes, John A. Clark Jr., and Sly and Grace Revitsky; a brother, Robert Clark, of Naples, Fla.; and his cousin, Daniel Ackerman and his wife, Becky, of Murrysville. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, at the FREDERICK FUENRAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at Frederick Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor Jeffrey L. Schock and the Rev. David Ackerman. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery, Latrobe. Military honors will be conducted Tuesday at 10 AM in the funeral home by the Latrobe-Derry Veterans Honor Guard.
