Edward P. Novak, Sr.

Edward P. Novak, Sr., 76, of Latrobe, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at home.   He was a devoted father and grandfather.   Ed was born June 29, 1946, in Latrobe, the son of the late Henry and Ann (Mehal) Novak.  He was a graduate of Latrobe High School and retired from Latrobe Plastics.   Surviving is his son, Edward P. Novak, Jr. of Latrobe, daughter Deanna Kozel of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Cole and Jordan Novak, and his brother, Henry J. Novak and wife, Gen, of Greensburg. In addition to his parents, Ed was predeceased by brothers, Richard and Jerry Novak.   As per his wishes there will be no public visitations.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon, Friday, February 17, 2023, at Holy Family Church with Fr. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant.  Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Latrobe.  Ed will be greatly missed by family and friends.  Frederick Funeral Home, Inc., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA entrusted with arrangements.
