Eleanor Z. Biller

Eleanor Z. Biller, 85, of Latrobe passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. Born April 1, 1926, in Youngstown, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Barbara (Gleckl) Zitterbart. She was retired from Latrobe Area Hospital, where she worked as a registered nurse. She was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church and a graduate of Latrobe Area Hospital School of Nursing. Eleanor enjoyed animals, her special cat Buffy and bus trips to many local attractions. She loved to garden. She loved roses and her rosebushes, some of which she maintained for more than 40 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gilbert and Arthur C. Zitterbart. She is survived by her husband, Thomas A. Biller, whom she married in 1952; two sons, Thomas T. Biller and his wife, Sandy, and William C. Biller, all of Latrobe, and grandchild, Toni Mari Johnston. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, in Frederick Funeral Home Inc., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, when a funeral service will be held.
