Eleanor Y. Blair

Eleanor Y. Blair, of Allison Park, formerly of Latrobe, died Sunday, March 7, 2010, in Concordia at Rebecca Residence, Allison Park. She was born in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Zimber) Yanker. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Blair was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Latrobe Century Club and St. Vincent Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Blair Sr.; and a sister, Dorothy Hughes. She is survived by a son, Raymond J. Blair Jr. and his wife, Carol Immel Blair, of Sagamore Hills, Ohio; three daughters, Janet Novotny and her husband, Francis, of Nashua, N.H., Elaine Addessi and her husband, Ron, of Erie, and Maureen S. Blair, of Lower Burrell; five grandchildren, Marcia, Gary, Michelle, Jeffrey and Kirk; as well as nine great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Latrobe, with the Very Rev. Daniel C. Mahoney, VF, as celebrant.
