Elizabeth E. Dibert, 96, of North Huntingdon, died Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, in Select Specialty Hospital, Latrobe. Born Nov. 9, 1913, in Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Allen) Walter. She was a former employee of G.C. Murphy, Gimbels, A&M Market, and she also transported children as a school bus driver. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Irwin, Happy Methodist Club, Irwin, and North Irwin Women's Business Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison L. Dibert; and eight brothers and sisters, William Walter, Thelma Walter, Harold Walter, Vivian W. Taylor, Robert C. Walter, George E. Walter, Richard W. Walter and Eugene F. Walter. She is survived by a brother, Albert L. "Abe" Walter, of Latrobe, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. David Lake officiating. Burial will be in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
