Fawn E. Stape

Fawn E. Stape, 44, of Youngwood, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born on April 21, 1980, in Jeannette. She was a 1998 graduate of Hempfield Area High School. She spent many years working as a banker before pursuing a career as a baker and cake decorator. In addition to her professional life, Fawn enjoyed reading, fishing, and playing softball. Her love for cooking, especially, brought joy to her and those around her. Above all, Fawn was a beloved family member and friend who will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Betty Maloy; and aunt, Carol Maloy. She is survived by her twin daughters, Avigail and Brenna Stape of Greensburg; father, Mark Maloy of Wilmington, N.C.; uncle, John Maloy of Jeannette; partner, Paul Hoover of Youngwood; and cat, Jackson. A memorial service will begin at 11 AM Saturday at Latrobe Community Ministries, 440 Main St, Latrobe, PA 15650.
