Felix P. Mrozinsky

Felix P. Mrozinsky, 82, of Loyalhanna, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Born June 16, 1926, in Bradenville, he was a son of the late Joseph and Sophia Muncznski Mrozinsky. He was a retired maintenance staff member for Kennametal with more than 40 years of service. He was a member of Latrobe Presbyterian Church, where he served as a deacon, an usher and a member of the church's Willing Workers. A World War II veteran, he served in the Navy, and was a member of American Legion Post 515. He also was a member of Loyalhanna Lodge No. 275 F&AM; Tall Cedars of Lebanon Westmoreland Forest No. 77; Valley of Pittsburgh Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite; Greek Club; and Cooperstown Veterans and Sportsmen's Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters, Eva Grabowski, Regina Kutzer, Tillie Pavlik, Eleanor "Hunch" Mrozinsky, as well as two infant sisters; and six brothers, Adam, John, Joseph, Frank, Louis and Dan Mrozinsky. He is survived by his wife, Rosanne Payne Mrozinsky; a daughter, Darcy and her husband, Mike Polinsky, of Derry; a son, Jeff and his wife, Deb, of Cody, Wyo.; three grandchildren, Ben, Andy and Rachael Mrozinsky, all of Cody, Wyo.; a special niece, Lori; and numerous other nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation. Loyalhanna Lodge No. 275 F&AM will conduct a Masonic funeral service at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, in Latrobe Presbyterian Church, 428 Main St., Latrobe. A memorial service will be conducted immediately following the Masonic service by the Rev. Clark R. Kerr. Immediately following the memorial service a luncheon will be served by the Willing Workers.
