Fredric Scott Blackburn died August 12, 2008 on the 10th hole of Latrobe Country Club.
Scott was born October 8, 1938 in Point Marion, PA.
He retired from Clemco Industries in 2003 and lived in Foster City, CA.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley Blackburn, son Jeffery (wife Laura) of Lake Orion, MI, daughter Tracy Elmore (husband Thomas) of Stow, OH, son Sean (wife Lori) of Sacramento, CA, and 11`grandchildren.
Private family services were held in Stow, Ohio on August 16, 2008.
Memorials may be made in his name to Salvation Army or to your favorite charity.
Scott was a man of integrity. He cared for his family first, lived life on his own terms, never failed to make new friends where ever he went, and never lost touch with friends once made.
He understood life is brief and should be enjoyed to its fullest.
