Gary Lee West Jr

Gary Lee West Jr., 44, of Latrobe, died Thursday, May 22, 2014, at home. He was born Sept. 7, 1969, in Jeannette, to the late Gary Lee "YB" West and Nancy (Monper) Seanor, who survives. He currently worked for Classic Industries but had previously worked as the executive chef for Mountain View Inn. Gary enjoyed music and was a tattoo enthusiast. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bob and Mary Monper. He is survived by his wife 12 years, Jennifer Appleby-West; a daughter, Oktober Appleby; his mother, Nancy (Monper) Seanor and her husband, Ron; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Ruth West; three siblings, Caryn Morris and her husband, Scott, Josh Seanor and his wife, Jackie, and Casey West; two stepsiblings, Ron Seanor Jr. and Tina Seanor; an aunt, Bev Leasher and family; and his best little friend, Muggle. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2014, at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 26, 2014, in the funeral home, with the Rev. Cindy Parker officiating. Burial will be private.
