Gerald F. Keller, 72, of Latrobe, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, at home. Born Dec. 20, 1936, in Punxsutawney, he was a son of the late Edward J. and Margaret (Masi) Keller. Prior to his retirement, he was a glazier with Local 181, Cleveland, Ohio. He served in the Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward A. Keller. He is survived by his wife, Susan (Christensen) Keller; a son, Gerald David Keller and his wife, Elisa, of Ohio; a daughter, Amy C. Rumskey and her husband Gary, of Ohio; two grandchildren, Addyson C. Rumskey and Gavin A. Rumskey; a sister-in-law, Debbie Keller, of Erie; as well as nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation. A private funeral Liturgy will be held at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. The combined funeral detail of local American Legion and VFW veterans will provide military honors at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be private. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
