Glenn T. Malloy, 91, of Latrobe passed away Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, in Latrobe Health and Rehabilitation Center, Unity Township. Born Dec. 14, 1920, in Bradenville, he was a son of the late James W. and Ada (Moore) Malloy. Prior to retirement, Glenn had been a laborer for Westinghouse. He was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Latrobe, Kingston VeteranA�s and SportsmanA�s Association and Youngstown Volunteer Fire Department, and a social member of the American Legion. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Palma M. Gennari Malloy, in 2003; five brothers, James V., Kenneth, Bill, Larry and Regis Malloy, and three sisters, Loretta Reeping Schrum, Betty Stiffler and Ruth Overdorff. He is survived by two brothers, Robert and Jack Malloy, both of Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews. As per his wishes, services were private. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township. The family wishes to send a special thank-you to the Excela Health fifth-floor staff, Latrobe Health and Rehabilitation Center and its staff, his special nurses Jeff and Heidi, and the Three Rivers Hospice staff.
