Grace L. Panigal

Grace L. Panigal, 95, of Latrobe, died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born March 2, 1920, in Latrobe, daughter of the late Dominic Panigal and Mary A. (Cima) Panigal. She was retired with more than 40 years service from Latrobe Steel Company (the Timken Company), having worked as a chemical worker. She was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. She was a member and past president of the Holy Family Rosary Society, Holy Family Sodality, Girl Scout Leaders Association, Latrobe Junior Women's Club, Latrobe Century Club and the Holiday Club. She was a member of AARP Chapter 3897, Latrobe Steel Company Retirees Club and Seton Hill Alumnae Corporation. She was a graduate of Latrobe High School, class of 1936 and Seton Hill College (University) 1940. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two siblings, Mary M. Panigal and Joseph Panigal. She is survived by two sisters, Mildred Panigal and Margaret Panigal. At Grace's request there will be no public visitation. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Daniel C. Mahoney VF. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church.
