Gregory N. Taluskie

Gregory N. Taluskie, 74, of Latrobe (Unity Twp.), PA, passed away July 10, 2022, at home.  He was born July 23, 1947, in Hazelton, PA, to the late John and Irene (Rokoz) Taluskie.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.  He retired with 39 years of service as a Business Manager for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.  Gregory was a member of St. Vincent Basilicia Parish; American Legion Post 982; Hill Top Social Club; and the Seniors league at Glengarry Golf Course.  He liked to play golf and read to the grandchildren when they were little.  In addition to his parents Gregory was preceded in death by two sisters, Claudette Yanoski, and Irene Briggman, and two brothers, Jack Taluskie, and Vincent Taluskie.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rosemarie T. (Leshko) Taluskie; two children, Michael Taluskie  (Alicia) of Hagerstown, MD; and  Karen V. Taluskie (William Robert Collett) of Winston-Salem, NC; three grandchildren, Elijah Taluskie, Alli Taluskie,  and Emma Williams; a brother Stanley Taluskie (Sheila) of Lexington, KY.  Memorial visitation will take place Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 4-8 PM, at Frederick Funeral Home, Inc., 1543 Ligonier Street, Latrobe, PA 15650 - (724) 537-7766, where a Funeral Liturgy will take place Friday, July 15, 2022, at 10:00 AM, with Fr.
