Ida Marie Alesi, 85, of Latrobe died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Born March 1, 1923, in Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late Harry W. and Kathryn Saxman. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Alesi; a son, Anthony J. Alesi; a daughter-in-law, Joan Alesi, and nine siblings. Surviving are three sons, Angelo Nick Alesi and his wife, Marian, Bruce Alesi and his wife, Debbie, and Roland Alesi and his wife, Rose; a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Alesi; 13 grandchildren, Nick Alesi Jr., Michele Alesi, Amy Brant and her husband, James, Holly Shaffer and her husband, Bob, Shawn Alesi and his wife, Beth, Shane Alesi and his wife, Melissa, Dawn Alesi-Lucas and her husband Scott, Christine Adamek and her husband, Josh, Tiffany Debar, Gary Debar, Roland Alesi, Lori Alesi and Michael Alesi; 12 great-grandchildren, Sara and Marie Alesi, Marley Lucas, Isabella and Anthony Alesi, Roland and Andrew Alesi, Jaden Alesi, Bradan Depner, Michael and Emily Shaffer, and Nathan Brant, and three siblings, Edward Saxman, Walter Saxman and Ruth Crispen. A private memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Frederick Funeral Home Inc., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, for family members. Burial will be in Bethel Church Cemetery, Cook Township.
