John Austin Jellison

John Austin Jellison, 59, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at UPMC Presbyterian. He was born Aug. 10, 1953, in Latrobe, a son of the late Lester Robert Jellison and Irene Mae Reed Jellison. He worked in construction, specializing in brick and block. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandson, Jake, and attending Jake's baseball and football games. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Jellison, Thomas Jellison and Lester Jellison; a stepbrother, Brinton Jellison; two brothers-in-law, Clifford Harr and John Nemcheck; and one sister-in-law, Beverly Jellison. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jeanne C. (Ross) Jellison; two children, Heather Hoyle, of Latrobe, and Shawn Jellison, of Latrobe; one grandson, his little buddy, Jacob Hoyle; sister, Dolores Zoldosh and her husband, Steven; sister-in-law, Nancy Jellison; sisters, Della Harr and her husband, Russell, Zella Harr, Dorothy Small and her husband, Wayne, and Cathy Nemchek; sister-in-law, Rita Jellison; brothers, William Jellison and his wife, Debra, and Phillip Jellison and his wife, Sue; stepbrother, Donald Reed; as well as a number of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and a good friend, Terry Loucks.
