John A. Oliverio, 82, of Finleyville, PA (formerly South Park), passed away surrounded by his loving family, on November 17, 2015. He was born in Sheraden, PA on June 24, 1933, to Salvatore and Catarina (Iaquianta) Oliverio. John is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Sheila J. (Frederick) Oliverio. He is survived by his son, John S. Oliverio; two daughters, Cathy A. (Keith) Paylo and Christina M. (Joseph) Arlotta; five grandchildren, Alex and Brooke Paylo and triplets Blake, Devin and Zoe Arlotta; and two siblings, Carlo Oliverio and Sara Cole. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Rosalie Cortese. John was the President/Owner of Woodlawn Builders, Inc. and a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish as well as 1976 Builder of the Year of Metropolitan Pittsburgh and 1979 President of Builders Association. Friends and family will be received on Friday, November 20, 2015, 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Mass will be conducted at St. Francis of Assisi located at 3609 Washington Avenue, Finleyville, PA 15332 on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at 10 a.m. John will be buried on Monday in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
