Joseph August Hudson

Joseph August Hudson, 64 of Latrobe (Unity Twp.), passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023, at home.  He was born August 16, 1959, in Wilkinsburg, PA, to the late Rugh August Hudson, Jr. and Mary L. (Birchall) Hudson.  He served his country in the U.S. Army.  Joseph was a retired pipeliner and welder's helper.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Holly Mae Hudson; and a brother-in-law, Charles Seales.  He is survived by five children, Mary Jane Hudson, Crystal Sue Hudson, Emily Ann Hudson, Lily Rose Hudson, Joseph Rugh August Hudson; three grandchildren, Crystal Rose Marie Scott, Brian Keith Scott Jr. and Sophia Mae Spade; four siblings, Thomas H. Hudson and his wife, Carol, Nancy Seales, Suzanne J. McCullough and her husband, William and Rebecca F. Crawford and her husband, Chris; as well and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.  Family and friends will be received at a memorial gathering from 10-11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650, where a memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with William McCullough officiating.  Interment will be private.  To send flowers or condolences, please visit www.FrederickFuneralHome.com.
