Katherine C. (Hamborsky) Marcinko

Katherine C. (Hamborsky) Marcinko, 92, of Youngstown, died Monday, April 11, 2016, at Excela Health Latrobe. She was born Oct. 5, 1923, in Lemont Furnace, daughter of the late Steven Hamborsky and Mary Lazur Hamborsky. She was the former owner and operator of the Rainbow Inn of Youngstown. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Youngstown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph L. Marcinko, in 1996; a daughter, Shirley Ann Marcinko, in 1983; six sisters; and three brothers. She is survived by two children, Rudolph F. Marcinko and his wife, Ann, of Iowa, and Barbara Lesnock and her husband, Bernard, of Latrobe; four grandchildren, Kristin Herrig and her husband, Jason, Jeffrey Marcinko, Eric Lesnock and his wife, Shannon, and Danielle Lesnock and her husband, Abdel Elsayed; two great-grandchildren, Nora Elizabeth Herrig and Lilah Grace Lesnock; a baby brother, Edward Hamborsky and his wife, Monika, of Alexandria, Va.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2016, at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016, in Sacred Heart Church, with Father Peter Augustine Pierjok, OSB. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe. The rosary will be recited by the members of the Sacred Heart Church Rosary Altar Society at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
