Margaret H. Steving

Margaret H. (Torzok) Steving, 90, of Latrobe, Unity Township, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Born March 25, 1924, in Indiana, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Frank Torzok and Mary Benevich Torzok. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, dancing with her husband to big band music and the company of her many pets. She was known as the gob lady every Halloween by everyone her neighborhood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard G. Steving Sr., in 2009; and four brothers, Frank, Steve, Joe and John Torzok. She is survived by two children, Leonard G. Steving Jr.; and John P. Steving and his wife, Elizabeth A. (Catanzarite) Steving, both of Latrobe; as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015., with Pastor Jonathan Fehl officiating. Private burial will follow at Unity Cemetery, Latrobe.
