Marie T. (DelSordo) Bougher

Marie T. (DelSordo) Bougher, 88, of Latrobe, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Born Oct. 1, 1921, in Latrobe, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carmela (DellaVecchia) DelSordo. She was a homemaker and had a passion for cooking. She never used recipes, but always made tasty dishes. Mrs. Bougher was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. She was a former Girl Scout leader, and a member of Catholic Daughters of America, Sons of Italy Lodge 1555, Holy Family Rosary Altar Society, Ladies Auxiliary of St. Vincent, Holy Family Juniorettes and Ladies Auxiliary of St. Vincent. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Bougher, in 1984; and a brother, Andrew Charles DelSordo. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Hutton and her husband, Dwight, of Monroeville, and Elizabeth Elco, of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Carmela Elco and her husband David Huffman, Jenine Graves and her husband Tim, and Sara Elco; and two nephews, Joseph DelSordo and his family and Andrew DelSordo and his family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Latrobe.
