Mary (Yawczak) Trovel

Mary (Yawczak) Trovel, 92, of Latrobe, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, in her residence. Born Dec. 7, 1922, in Dorothy, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Theodora Rudy Yawczak. She worked as a licensed practical nurse at Latrobe Area Hospital. Mary was a member of Holy Family Church in Latrobe. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Paul J. Trovel, in 2002; five brothers, John, Theodore, Peter, George and Nicholas Yawczak; and a sister, Sophie Kopetsky. She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Ballinger and husband, Charles, of Vineland, N.J.; a son, Charles Trovel and wife, Kathleen, of Camp Hill; three grandchildren, Christopher Trovel, Brandon Trovel and Michelle Ballinger; a great-grandson, Alexander Trovel; and her sisters, Gertrude Yawczak, of Derry, and Kathryn Daniels, of Bridgeton, N.J. There will be no visitation. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, in Holy Family Church, Latrobe, with Father Daniel Mahoney as celebrant.
