Mary Lee Wright

Mary Lee Wright, 87, of Latrobe, died Monday, April 29, 2013, at Golden Living Center, Oakmont. She was born Dec. 3, 1925, in Derry Township, daughter of the late Willie and Viola J. Drayton Sanders. She retired after working as a domestic worker for the Harry Saxman family. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Latrobe where she was a lifelong member, a member of the choir and a former treasurer. She worked with the Special Olympics and those suffering from Cystic Fibrosis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Claybon "Ace" Wright, Feb. 10, 2013; two brothers, Moody Sanders and Robert Sanders; and a sister, Gladys Clark. She is survived by a sister, Estella Ruffin, of Latrobe; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650. Additional viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Second Baptist Church, 2610 Ligonier St., Latrobe, with Pastor Kenneth Irvin.
