Mildred C. Panigal

Mildred C. Panigal, 101, of Latrobe, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born Feb. 23, 1916, in Marguerite, daughter of the late Dominic Panigal and Mary A. (Cima) Panigal. She was a retired registered nurse with almost 40 years of service at Latrobe Hospital. She was a graduate of Latrobe High School and the Latrobe Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church and the Holy Family Rosary Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings, Mary M. Panigal, Joseph Panigal, Grace L. Panigal and Margaret G. Panigal. She was the last surviving member of her family. At Mildred's request, there will be no public visitation. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. Private burial will be at St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe.
