Nathan A. Pescatore, 17, of Latrobe, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. He was born May 4, 1983, in Latrobe, a son of Gloria Sue Sproch Pescatore and the late William J. Pescatore. He was a student at Greater Latrobe High School and worked for R&M Machine Shop. He was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church and the Lloydsville Fire Department. Nathan was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandfather, John F. Pescatore; his maternal grandfather, Donald R. Sproch; and a cousin, Michelle Nicolazzo. He is survived by his mother, Gloria Sue Sproch Pescatore of Latrobe; two sisters, Heather Jean Pescatore and Leslie Ann Pescatore, both of Latrobe; his paternal grandmother, Evalyn Pescatore of Latrobe; his maternal grandmother, Betty Jean Sproch of Latrobe; aunts and uncles, Donna and Tom Schultheis of Latrobe, Patty and Frank Nicolazzo of Greensburg, Donald and Sue Sproch of Angola, Ind., Mary Pescatore of Latrobe, and Martha Hunter of Latrobe; and cousins, Tommy, Brian, Jennifer, and Alex Schultheis, Mathew, and Michael, and Jessica Nicolazzo, and Meghan, and Sara Sproch. Friends will be received at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. Interment Unity Cemetery, Unity Township. Lloydsville Fire Department will hold a memorial service Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
