Paul J. Lucas

Paul J. Lucas, 69, of Latrobe, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Born Jan. 25, 1938, in Hostetter, he was a son of the late Paul J. and Margaret Sobota Lucas. Mr. Lucas was a retired steelworker for Latrobe Steel. He served in the Air Force and was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ermin Lucas; and two sisters, Rosemarie Walthour and Madlyn Nelevanko. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary (Alexander) Lucas of Latrobe; a son, Paul J. Lucas and his wife, Debbie, of League City, Texas; two daughters, Laura J. Mack and her husband, Gregory, of Uniontown and Valerie Burke of Latrobe; three grandchildren, Alexis Burk, Anita Burk and Joshua Lucas; a brother, Francis J. Lucas and his wife, Elizabeth, of Pipetown; and a sister, Marcella Kortsky and her husband, Earnest, of Latrobe; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation. Funeral Mass and burial services in St. Vincent Cemetery were private. Arrangements by FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., Latrobe.
