Rhonda L. Lucas, 36, of Latrobe, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, after an 18-year battle with rheumatoid arthritis. She was born July 9, 1973, in Greensburg. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a former bus driver for Laidlaw. She enjoyed camping and was an avid movie watcher. Rhonda had a lively personality that often could change the spirit of a room when she arrived. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Donald M. and Katherine DeMine; and her maternal grandparents, Robert B. and Mildred Black. She is survived by her parents, Donald R. and Dianne L. Black DeMine; her father, Ronald B. Lucas; her fiance, Daniel Stull, of Jones Mills; three children, Josalynn R. Lucas, of Latrobe, Arinna and Jacob D. Stull, both of Jones Mills; six brothers and sisters, Donald R. Demine and his wife, Danielle, of South Greensburg, Sheila M. Poklembo, of Youngstown, Constance J. Boyd and her husband, Christopher L., of Belle Vernon, Ashley Barcovtch, Melinda Lucas and Carrie Grafft; aunts and uncles, Rebecca M. and Christopher T. Glass, Elaine and Richard Serembo, Randy and Patty DeMine, Ken and Peg DeMine, and Jeff DeMine; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jeffrey L. Schock officiating. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery, Latrobe.
