Richard Tiberio

Richard Tiberio, 85, of Hempfield passed peacefully at home on April 25, 2025. He was born in Jeannette on February 2, 1940, to Mario and Florence Armand Tiberio. He was retired from Parker Hannifin Corporation. Richard was a devout Christian and had a special devotion to Saint Francis of Assisi. In his younger years, he painted beautiful oil portraits and composed beautiful music and songs with his guitar. He often favored the music of Bob Dylan along with the classics like Beethoven. He enjoyed conversing with anybody and everybody, and always had something to talk about; anything from Leonardo da Vinci and his inventions, to television classics and old Western movies. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Marlene Walthour Tiberio, as well as his four children: Angela (married to Cary) Moyers of Trinity, AL, Jennifer (married to Michael) Idol of Winston-Salem NC, David Tiberio of Norvelt and Lianna Tiberio of Ligonier. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, whom he loved to visit with: Mylie and Madelyn Moyers and Hallie and Rose Idol.Richard was predeceased by a brother, Edward, and sister, Rosemarie.
