Robert L. Walters, 82 of Latrobe died Tuesday July 20, 2010, at home.
Born July 18, 1928, in Latrobe, he was the son of the late John and Emma Walters.
Robert was the former owner of Walters Electric Repair Shop.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Berry Hoover.
He is survived by his adopted family, Jeffery and Renee Shepler and their children and granddaughter, Christopher Shepler and Megan Hixon and her husband Charles, and their daughter Hanna Joy Hixon, all of Latrobe; a cousin, Jeanne Donovan of Derry; an aunt, Marjorie Gosnell of Florida; his friends from Eat'n Park, Elle and Donna; his buddies from the Pond, Dave, Joe and Don, and a good friend, Leonard Corazzi of Ohio.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2010 in Frederick Funeral Home, Inc. 1543 Ligonier Street, Latrobe. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 24, in the funeral home with the Rev. Jeffrey L. Schock officiating. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
