Roy L. Burk, 71, of Latrobe, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born Nov. 1, 1943, in Greensburg, a son of the late Domer S. Burk and Josephine Marto Burk. He was a retired salesman and entrepreneur. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Burk. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kathy (Nalevanko) Burk, of Latrobe; three children, Dawn Burk Spaeder and her husband, Mark, Chad Burk and Jami Burk Gregg; and six beloved grandchildren, Mathew Spaeder, Dylan Spaeder, Natalie Burk, Mia Gregg, Jack Spaeder and Claire Burk. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650. A funeral liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, at the funeral home with Father Justin Withrow, OSB. Burial in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Crabtree.
