Shirley Louise Peace

Shirley Louise (McAdams) Peace, 76, of Latrobe (Unity Twp.), passed away Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, at home.  She was born Nov. 20, 1947, in Indiana, PA, to the late Alexander and Adda Mae (Moore) McAdams.  She was a retired assistant manager for the Latrobe Salvation Army.  Shirley enjoyed reading books, making crafts, camping with the family and spending time with her late husband; she was a loving mother and loved the whole family with all her heart.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Norman Larry Peace Sr. in 2023.  She is survived by three children, Norman Larry Peace, Jr., Shannon Marie Downey (Michael) of NJ, and Shawna Renee Grima (Steven) of Austraila; and one grandchild, Bowen Victoria Peace.  As per her wishes there will be no public visitation or services.
