Thomas A. Biller, 92, of Latrobe passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Born Nov. 28, 1923, in Latrobe, he was a son of the late Charles P. and Elizabeth (Short) Biller. Thomas was retired from the Latrobe Municipal Authority and was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Latrobe. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Zitterbart Biller, in 2012; two brothers, Charles L. Biller and Earl J. Biller, and a sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Marron. He is survived by two sons, Thomas T. Biller and his wife, Sandy, and William C. Biller and his friend, Robin, all of Latrobe; a grandchild, Toni Mari Johnston, and two sisters, Mrs. William (Jean) Abraham of West Virginia and Eleanor Lerch of Fairless Hills. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, in Frederick Funeral Home Inc., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. A funeral Liturgy will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, in the funeral home with the Very Rev. Daniel C. Mahoney, VF, officiating. Burial will be in St. Clair Cemetery, Hempfield Township. Military honors will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home by the Latrobe-Derry Veterans Honor Guard.
