Thomas Benton Rubino Sr., 77, of Latrobe, died Friday, May 11, 2018 at Greensburg Care Center, Greensburg. He was born Jan. 28, 1941, in Latrobe to the late Thomas A. Rubino and Pauline E. (Short) Bombulie. He retired from Rolling Rock Brewery where he last worked in the maintenance department. He served in the Army and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and the American Legion Post 515. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet L. (McClarren) Rubino, in 1995; and his sister, Kathleen Baird. He is survived by four children, Darlene L. Dollar and her husband Michael, Sherrie Butler and her husband Brian, Thomas Rubino Jr. and his wife Rachel and Anthony Rubino and his wife Amy; four grandchildren, Ashley Moxinchalk, Patrick Moxinchalk Jr., Michael Dollar Jr. and Joseph Rubino; three great-granddaughters, Olivia Greene, Andie Greene and Aria Moxinchalk; and four siblings, Michele Sowers and husband Russell, Wilda Ann Reuther and her husband Michael, David Rubino and his spouse Tom Wheeler and Amy Jellison and her husband Ronald. There will be no public visitations. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Bradenville United Methodist Church with Pastor Herb Phar officiating.
