Timothy L. Widdows

Timothy L. "Tim" Widdows, 59, of Loyalhanna, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at his residence.

He was born August 26, 1950 in McKeesport, PA a son of the late Wilbert L. and Betty A. (Roberts) Widdows.

Tim was a member of the Mammoth Christian Fellowship Church, Mammoth, PA. He was a former employee of the Borough of Latrobe, a cross-country truck driver, and a charter captain on Lake Ontario. Boating, fishing and camping were of special interest to him. He so enjoyed all the friendships he made while camping.

Tim is survived by his wife of 39 years Mary Jane (Ashbaugh) Widdows, and his faithful pet, Oreo, with whom he enjoyed relaxing and spending time at their Prince Gallitzin camp. He is also survived by his daughter, Debbie Garufi and her husband Mike of Derry, his son Brian and wife Louise (Willochell) of Irwin, a brother Mark and his wife Debbie of Delmont, two grandchildren, Jon Michael and Hanna Garufi, and nieces Chelsea and Whitney Widdows.

A memorial service will be held at the Mammoth Christian Fellowship Church, Friday, July 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Edward D. Murphy officiating.
