Wayne Scott Silvis

Wayne Scott Silvis (53) died at his home in Latrobe on November 28, 2021.  He was born January 21, 1968, in Kittanning, PA.   He grew up on Kepple Hill outside of Vandergrift and graduated from Kiski Area High School in 1986.  After high school, he attended Technical Training School for commercial/residential construction. Wayne served in the US Navy stationed in Bremerton, Washington before moving to California.

Wayne was an avid sports fan and enjoyed collecting Steeler memorabilia.  His neighbors and friends remember him as a good man who was always willing to help anyone and was quick with a smile and joke.  He is missed.
