Wilbert Earl "Butch" Horner

Wilbert Earl "Butch" Horner, 87, of Latrobe, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Independence Health System - Latrobe Hospital. He was, born October 28, 1937, in Latrobe to the late Frank Horner and Anna (King) Horner Chinchock. He was a U.S. Army veteran and had retired from Independence Health System - Latrobe Hospital having worked in the maintenance department. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a baby daughter, Amy Lee Horner; two brothers, Richard Horner and James Chinchock; and a sister Joyce Horner. He is suvived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Joanne (Greenawalt) Horner; a son, Jeff Horner and his wife Sue Ferrari; a daughter, Michele McClelland and her husband Scott; two granddaughters, Alexis and Lindsay McClelland; two brothers, Timothy Horner and his wife Harriet, and Jack Horner and his wife Eloise; a brother in law, Gary Greenawalt and his wife Carol; as well as many nieces and nephews. As per his wishes there will be no public visitation and a private graveside service will be held at Unity Cemetery, Latrobe, PA.
