William Arthur "Bill" Hill, 84, of Greensburg, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024, at Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. He was born May 10, 1940, in McKeesport, to the late Harry W. and Louise (Mood) Hill. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Bill was a retired manager for Latrobe Steel. He also owned his own contracting business and built many beautiful homes throughout the area. He was a member of Latrobe Presbyterian Church and had an unshakable faith that he shared often. Bill always carried several crosses with him that he would give away to share God’s love. He was a model train enthusiast with a special fondness for the "O Gauge". He participated in train shows all over Western PA. He and his wife were members of the “Because We Care” mission team helping others in times of disaster recovery in many areas of the USA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Hill and Tom’s wife Judy. Bill is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ardyth "Ardi" (Irwin, Petrosky) Hill; a daughter, Dianna Taylor (Jeff) and their son, Donnie (his partner Ashley) and children Skye and Hunter; a son, Jim Hill (Cindy) and his daughter, Abbey Schmitt (Matt) and their daughter, Emma Jane; and a son, Gary Hill (Barb); also a brother, Harry Hill (Karen) and their son Jesse of SC. Visitation will be held at Unity Chapel Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 4-6 PM with a funeral service to immediately follow at 6 PM with Pastor Derek Campbell officiating.
